NOVEMBER IS “DIABETES MONTH”,
This is for people that are new to diabetes mellitus, their family, friends, and neighbors. People that have had diabetes for a while probably should review it also because most people with diabetes do not know what they should about their disease. Diabetes keeps getting more and more prevalent in the world around us. I have divided it into 12 half hour units to view in a month. Let’s do it together.
November 04 and November 05, we are going to start Diabetes Fundamentals Webinars. We will do them Monday EVENINGS and Tuesday MORNINGS. This will be 2 hour (5:30 – 7:30 pm) webinars on 4 Monday evenings AND/OR 2 hour (8:00 – 10:00 am) webinars on 4 Tuesday mornings. We will cover 12 units of diabetes fundamentals in November. Once per week; for 4 weeks. You can sign up for one of the class series (either Mondays or Tuesdays) and attend the other if needed. We meet people all the time that have had diabetes for years and never attended ANY basic classes. They were simply told, “You have diabetes.” And they really don’t know anything else about it. For the greatest majority of people diabetes is manageable. But you have to know what you are dealing with. As you get older it becomes less manageable. Cost for the webinars will be $40 for the four weeks (eight hours of classes).
